You can make it up in a few weeks time, 'specially with epo, and you can freeze it for a lot longer than you used to. so you could do it in the winter, or in the gap that so many tour riders have in their schedule, when they take off 3 or 4 weeks from racing in may or june to reconoiter the mountain stages.
