If what this guy is implying is true then the UCI have not merely shot themselves in the foot, they have taken aim at their own heart. Pro cyclists already have to endure the implication by many that merely winning is evidence of doping. That's a fair burden for a doper, but what about when a clean guy wins?

Now will their own governing body randomly shoot them down? I can't believe that they would make something like this public without being certain of their testing methods. I desparately want the cheats to be caught, but bumbling procedures do way more harm than good. I look forward to hearing more about the accuracy of this test. It seems that they could easily prove whether it works or not using a blind test of volunteers from the general population. Let's see if they can accurately identify five people who've received transfusions when presented with a pool of 100 blood samples.
