Actually, that was the kind of original poster's point - what you call mannerly he called "lacking sponteneity". My sentiment was more along the lines of "sedate". Some people like the added control, to me it lacks energy and soul. To some extent that is a factor of its newness and maybe also just a reflection of who has chosen to register and post there so far.
