Landis chose Mercury instead of Postal and when the former went belly up, Postal bailed him out. Armstrong personally took Landis under his wing. Now, at the first opportunity Landis bails on Postal. Don't expect Postal to call in any favors to support Landis in this Vuelta. Fortunately with the ProTour system, teams will be able to instill the team concept into their younger riders.
