There's no 'but'. I can dislike whoever I like - full stop. Look I could explain why but I don't really feel like it... just accept that I'm strange, British and just don't like him. Though I actually chose him for my Vuelta team since I believe he's exhausted his form and will to win after the Olympic TT victory.

Face it, not everyone can like Hamilton. I'm not American, so I don't feel the same way - you wouldn't feel the same way about the Millar affair, I'm sure (I'd defend him more, simply because he's British). He is tough - toughest I've seen. But honestly, his abandonning the 2004 Tour was puzzling. He actually said the day before abandonign he didn't have the legs on La Mongie...... nothing about the back. Stoic silence? And his dog died - that is sad - but cry me a river, athletes have to come over much bigger hurdles to succeed.

I don't doubt his personality attributes, he seems like a very nice and genuine guy. :P I'm weird like this, not liking Tyler

;)

PS. I bet he proves my opinions wrong and podiums at the Vuelta! Thus scuppering last-place Fantasy Vuelta hopes :P
