Yes, that is surprising, given the vast difference in talent and ability between these two - in favor of Vinokourov. I don't think Cadel Evans is going to reach the podium because I don't think he survives a three-week tour as well as some others. He could prove me wrong ofcourse; he has never made a big impression on me, so I don't really care one way or the other, also because I'm not of the 'everyone speaking native english is to be cheered' crowd.
