Postal had the luxury of leaving Pena off the team in favor of a younger rider who eventually showed more on the climbs than Pena ever did. You have to give younger riders some experience at some point. It was a brilliant move by Bruyneel in my opinion. Some fans weren't happy, but then you can't please everyone and Bruyneel is wise not to just sit around with the same team year after year after year.

It was a calculated risk and it worked.
