Furthermore a whole team has to be in good form to win and clearly some weren't, the way they limped to the finish with a couple of riders off the back.

Bear in mind though that Koldo Gil is a climber, as is Baranowski, whilst Giampaolo Caruso isn't a good TTer and won't have had much practise in TTT after his doping ban...
