Subject: Bonanza Seasons 1 and 2 to be removed at You Tube

Andy Klyde is working on having season 1 and 2 episodes removed from the place. I believe they are the 31 eps that fell into public domain about 15 years ago. In my honest opinion, the place should be closed down for violation of copyright. Literally everything over there has no legal permission and it's a shame. We don't want the official CBS DVD agenda to get messed up by this place, so that's the story. Bonanza will live long and prosper on DVD. I have no doubts.

I use it a ton. I'm a kid in a candy store. But a lot of that stuff is copywrighted. The posters say "I don't own this". Does their saying it make it OK to post it? The pattern of things being removed has no logic to it. One verison of something will be removed, but another, (same music, different video, for example) will stay there. In multi-part posts, they sometimes delete certain parts of it and leave the rest up, (see "The Sea Hawk", where part 1 is missing but the other 12 parts are still there).
