Subject: Name of the Ranch in "opening credits"

I am trying to answer this question and I can not find a reference to "2 weeks of shooting each year". Can anyone help me identify the location described in this question?

What ranch was the focus of the opening credits for a famous television show that ran for 14 seasons and was used to shoot authentic locations for two weeks a year.

Did you look at the locations and opening scenes forums on this site? Rick has so much information that you might find the answer to your question here.

Yes, I spent about an hour searching the site. There is a difference between opening credits and opening scenes.
i can find tons of info about scenes.

Rick's opening scenes pages ARE the opening credits and he knows everything, but isn't available.

What's most confusing is your question, young'un. (And you must be very young.) "Dallas" ran for 14 "seasons" (if you can describe their rather short production schedule as a "season") and its opening credit montage contained footage of an actual ranch in Texas. (Was a ranch "the focus"? Who knows? A montage is just that -- a montage. A dumb as well as confusing question.) Whether the crew filmed on location for 2 weeks every year is probably "verifiable" only by an imaginative publicist. Cheers. (And remember young'un, BONANZA -- the original -- rocks!)
