Rifleman, brings back memories. That was certainly one of the first things I remember as a kid. Chuck Conners, larger then life. Later on I come to notice the now famous Shannon Doherty played in at least one episode of the rifleman! I was addicted to the original 90210 for some reason. I can explain why, but I keep coming back for additional servings during it's long run. Nothing else to watch I guess!

Sorry, but that is incorrect Shannon Doherty was born in 1971 and The Rifleman lasted from 1958-63.

Johny Crawford was in one episode of Little House
"The Hunters" (1976) He play Ben Shelby.

Humm... That's odd to me. I seemed to remember her getting credit as a child actor for that old western, but perhaps it was another one.

Jodie Foster was in Gun Smoke when she was like seven years old. Could that be who you are thinking off?

Jodie Foster was also in Bonanza. However, I seem to remember something somewhere where Shannen had a credit for a bit part when she was very young in on old western series. However, I don't see anything at wiki...

I knew she was in Little House already, but that wasn't what I was thinking of.

Mini Biography

American character actor. Upon his entry into films in 1930, he was typecast as a weakling or criminal type. He received great acclaim for his role as Garth Esdras, the haunted and hunted accessory to murder in Winterset (1936). Memorable as the weaselly convict who tries to kill James Cagney at Steve Cochran's behest, but gets his just desserts in the trunk of a car, in White Heat (1949). After two decades as a film actor, he made a small foray into film directing. He died at 58...Trivia
No relation to Paul Guilfoyle, the character actor best known from television's "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000)."

So WHO is their son?

Mister G (and I don't mean Dobie Gillis' father) was in a lot of movies, including as Smith in the original "Mighty Joe Young" of 1949; also: Gunsmoke, Sea Hunt, Jungle Jim, Space Patrol (with Conmmander Codey), Bomba; Davy Crocket, Indian Scout; some 1944 "Dark Shadows", It Happened Tomorrow http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036962/ *** (reminds me of "Gary Hobson"'s "Early Edition" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115163/ ), Grapes of Wrath, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, and to see: ___ The Story of Alfred Nobel, 1939.

*** with co star Jackie Oakie http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0642988/ who was great in that Fess Parker Daniel Boone episode of: "Goliath", http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0554274/ as Otis Cobb, 1966, and his slave-fighter, with video over at:

(2) "Jack Oakie Belts One Out With The Girls"

For Kathleen, she was also in some other favorites of: Dennis the Menace, Perry Mason, One Step Beyond ("Dead Ringer" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0507771/ but with no review, so over to see it (again?) of: 24:13 at: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6137816274574638195 later ____ ), Father Knows Best, Lassie, Sky King, Tales of Wells Fargo, Highway Patrol, Marty (1955), and what looks to be a very interesting movie of: "Journey Into Light" (1951) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043692/
