"He* is survived by his wife, actress Laurie Morton**, and their two children."

I remember him from that "The Matchmaker" movie of 1997 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Matchmaker_%281997_film%29

see also: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0446303/
"Personal Quote:
I've been 52-53 years on stage, and yet Fawlty Towers, those full 9 minutes, make me recognized anywhere in the world." and for what looks to be the westerns but isn't of:
"Cowboys" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0162072/ ""Cowboys" was a screamingly funny Thames Television sitcom that would need to be retitled if they ever show it in America. This series has nothing to do with Texas buckaroos. In Britain, a "cowboy builder" is an unscrupulous construction worker, specialising in construction jobs that look acceptable just long enough for the builders to get paid ... "Cowboys" was well-written and well-performed, and would probably get a favourable reception in the United States ... providing somebody changes the title." So METV or TV LAND people, if you're reading this, of to PLEASE give this a chance. I'd like to see David Kelly in these thirteen (13) episodes.

Who's next? I guess we are into the who's dead thing lately. Last really big star I can remember on the Big Screen who died was Liz Taylor. Has there been any really big names that have died in the last 12 months?

You're right Andrew, as I did buy the newspapers to clip out the obits about her to go with my autographed picture I got from her doing that "Lassie Bark-a-thon" on TNT-TV back in the 1990s, re: her Lassie movie.

I can't remember anyone lately.

Plus in yesterday's N.Y. TIMES was an excellent one page story with photo about John Glen with his astronaut helmet.

When Jimmy Stewart died the entire country gave him in each of their newspapers of like the entire front pages, of like that "Extra, Extra, Read all about it" you hear from time to time in some of the old TV shows.

Plus some of these guys as Character Actors over at: http://www.imdb.com/list/eV8-oqaVf54/ might say to you: "Watch it buster!" (;-) What's the Rush!? (;-)

[> Re: [ Death List ] -- Joe H., 11:56:20 02/15/12 Wed [1]

Andrew, here's a list of possibles as "next" over at http://www.deathlist.net/ that I did just find by a GOOGLE search, of look who's on the list: Eli Wallach and Kirk Douglas.

What a website of to put them on. I hope that the website creator's death "wish" does NOT come true too soon. They deserve to make it to 100+ in good health and more.

Here in New England there used to be that "Boston Pone Cane" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boston_Post (see also: http://web.maynard.ma.us/bostonpostcane/ ) awarded to the oldest resident in each city or town. But that it was like a curse, of once in possession of such, the person soon died. Of the "curse" so-called like put on hold of like now on display in the Town Hall of with the list of those who have died (past tense), of to leave the oldest person in anonymity if they want until that time of their departure, or should I say visit from that Robert Redford character like from his episode of "The Twilight Zone". (;-0) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000602/ over to: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0734603/ for: "Nothing in the Dark (#3.16) " of 1962 as: "Harold Beldon " http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0035562/ with co-star R.G. Armstrong http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0035866/ born: April 7, 1917, so in less than 2 months he will be 95 years old.
