Subject: "Kingdom of Fear" airs April 4, 1971

That was 39 years ago and coincidentally, NBC slotted it to air on April 4th, which was the third anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King. The episode started filming the day after Senator Robert Kennedy was shot and killed in LA, as told to me by producer Kent McCray, who helmed the production. NBC shelved it because of Kennedy's assassination and the violent storyline. The first time it was seen in reruns was in fall of 1988 on FAM.
