Interesting post as always, Joe. It looks like her last film or television work was in 1957.

"The Haunted Lighthouse" is a great early Superman story with Jimmy Olsen finding danger and mystery on an island. Allene Roberts' character is a deaf and mute housekeeper.

"The Monkey Mystery" has Allene Roberts as the daughter of a famous European scientist. When her father is captured she flees to America carrying his secret formula. She is actually on screen very little in the episode, but does a nice job.

I don't know anything about her being related to PR, but she is from Alabama, right next door to his home state of Georgia. She still resides in Alabama today, according to the wiki link in your post.
