The best for me were 'Ponderosa Matador','The FlapJack Contest','Joe Cartwright,Detective','Shanklin','A Dollar's Worth Of Trouble',and 'The Gold Dectector'. Honestly,there are just too many to list!
The Worst are many of the 14th season last season episodes in between
'Forever' and 'The Hunter'.

My personal favorites include Twilight Town, Hoss and the Leprechauns, The Hayburner, The Ponderosa Matador, The Gamble, A Passion for Justice, The Actress, Walter and the Outlaws, The Crucible, A Girl Named George, Black Friday and Dead Wrong. There are others but as Ray said, too many to list!
Fans often include Dark Star and Dead and Gone on their list of worst episodes, but I admit I actually enjoy them both in a guilty kind of way. Susan Harrison was a lovely actress and Hoyt Axton a great singer/songwriter. So sue me, lol!
There are not many episodes I dislike enough to consider worst. Blood on the Land would be one that comes to mind.
