Tim, I wish TV Land would cut back on the commercials, but I see no chance of that happening.

TV Land was great when they first launched back in 1996.
They dug up shows that were not seen in years.

Westerns like "Trackdown," "Johnny Ringo."
"The Deputy," "The Westerner,"
"The Loner," "Maverick.

Crime dramas like "Richard Diamond," "The Detectives,"
"M-Squad," "Honey West," "The Lineup."

Sitcoms, "Private Secretary," "Car 54,"
"The Gale Storm Show," "The Addams Family,"
"The Munsters," "Petticoat Junction,"
"My Three Sons," "December Bride."

And the shows ran uncut with only one two minute commercial break in between the show.
And they were commercials from the fifties and sixties.
Before a show began, they'd run about three minutes of the regular commercials.

So with about 4 minutes of commercial time, you got to see the whole 25+ minutes of the shows.

But then by about 2001, TV Land started going down hill.
The shows were being cut down more and more until it finally became the abomination it is now.

The only good thing I can say about TV Land, is that they still run a few of the better older shows.

Great list of early TV Land shows, Dan. I understand they even aired the seldom seen 1966 western series Shane, starring David Carradine, for a while.
