The Cheers episode is "Someone Single, Someone Blue" from season one, broadcast March 3, 1983. The episode opens with Coach dragging Glen (Paul Wilson) over to sing the Bonanza theme for Sam Malone. Although Coach calls the guy Glen, the closing credits lists his character as Gregg. Paul Wilson would later become a regular on the Cheers series as a bar patron named Paul.

TV Land used the clip of Paul Wilson singing the Bonanza theme as a promo for awhile.

Come to think of it, Coach may have dragged Sam Malone over to hear Glen (Paul Wilson) sing the theme. Same result, lol.
