For some reason this episode seems real familer? I have only seen the lost episodes a few times years ago so was this episode ever shown on tvland for some reason or something? Or maybe there is an episode that is similar with Hoss being the only one who votes not quilty in a jury?

There is one episode where Ben is appointed a temporary judge, so the courtroom set is definitely reused and looks familiar. This guest actor, Noah Beery, appeared in the first Lost episode, called Lothario Larkin.
