I seem to remember some really good paintings in the episode, The Artist, and i forget the episode where a portrait of Ben Cartwright was destroyed by a very angry and disturbed women.

It's a good thing that the film industry and network media realized how important it was to save live tapings and film clips of tv shows and news events over the years.

"The Artist" had the paintings made for the story. The portrait of Ben and Lady Chadwick was made for "The Countess."
