Wrong Joey, I been around this forum for many years, and posted occasionally under other usernames. However, try to think clearly and you will get it. The best shot at getting seasons 8-14 (Bonanza Finished) in the shortest time is for the German release to continue. I don't believe in waiting until 2018 because I'm supposed to be a patriot. I order stuff from all over the world, if I like it, and want it.

Thanks, buddy. As for Alamode Films, they released season 7 in 2008 and they stopped at that point. I'm sure they had a good reason to stop at that point and that probably had something to do with making decisions and marketing strategy with CBS in the game. Also, I'd imagine wanting to see how mass producing the show would sell for a few years before they move on with the last half of the show. When you are running a business, you can't be reckless, but cautious, I think. If I called them I could learn more, but I don't see any need to at this point.

I looked and all 7 years German and they rank high in the Amazon.de bestseller ratings. Most of the seasons are in the Top 10 bestseller ranking in DVD & Blu-Ray as of today. That's great news for Alamode and is a sign Bonanza is still very popular and is selling very good. I can picture seasons 8-14 making it out.

I have faith in the US releases, but CBS needs to speed things up. You also have to consider they're in a state crippled with bad economy. California. Just about every business is hurting one way or another in the Golden State and Hollywood isn't exempt from a double digit recession and without a budget. That's why I left along with many others. Another issue is the disrespect and arrogancy Hollywood can have when it comes to the older, classic material, where the Europeans have a great passion for it.
