I thought this was a very good Hoss episode. Lots of passion involved in the story. I hated it when Hoss overheard Cameo and Jim talking in the barn after Jim escaped about Cameo being in love with Jim. Ben and Hoss's conversation at the end of the show about Hoss still caring for her, breaks a girls heart to hear that! Ben was such a great father.

For a split second there, I was 'in the wrong century', when Hoss reaches into his pocket after he found the woman who was killed, I was thinking 'he's reaching for his cell phone' ... there was the knife in his hands and I was back to the 1800s again...
