Thanks SWC. Who ever reads the "fine print" to these things?

WHY did they start this rumor = "Unverified information" as so defined in one dictionary, while another = a great quote from Shakspere's "2 Henry IV.," iii 1.97 of: "Rumour doth double, like the voice and echo, The numbers of the fear'd". and for what reason? Like in battle during a time of war?

And so like a war monger, a rumor monger, see, for example: ""Great is the rumour of this dreadful knight", of I remember an old TV episode of Richard Greene's "Robin Hood" where he took the place of somebody who was inferior in fighting with the sword*, and so left the false impression that nobody ever ought to challenge him ever again.

P.S. For another Shakspere, see: "Richard III.," iv. 2.51 of: "Rumour it abroad That Anne, my wife, is sick and like to die", but why? I've never seen this play.

* A great sword-fighting movie is of: "Against All Flags" with Maureen O'Hare.

** The "Hot Pic" here is that of Hillary Duff. Is she related to ["Josh" aka Samuel Clemens / Mark Twain, as the names of those characters for] the actor Howard Duff? in that BONANZA episode with the Bigfoot rumored to be at the bottom of the lake.
