Hey you guys, I just wanted to add something to what Shyann said. Ya'll, if you think it's hard right now, don't quit because of it, after you get the basics down, it's easier. You'll love it, and colorguard is such a great organization. The people are so loving in there. I came during winterguard, and the team (A and B guard) acted so nice towards me and loved me. Well, the band banquet and colorguard banquet was a lot of fun, don't you think? I've already posted a note about how great the year has been, now I want to say thank you. Thank you for the opportunity to be your Co-Captian. It has been a wonderful delight, and I will NEVER forget this year!(I wanted to say all of this on Thru., but if I did, I knew that I'd start crying and I promised myself that I wouldn't) Any ways... this year has been a long, hard year for me, but it was you gurls that kept me going. Y'all were strength through it all. Once again, thank you! Megan... sweetie, what can I say. You have guided me through this entire year and know I'm going to have to do it all by myself next year.But you've taught me well, and I'll be fine, I hope! ;)! fresh from dayton ohio......yep thats me.......so yeah i dunno cant compare the "fun factor" between the two but just to let you know the World shows were better last year......and fantasia the guard we all knew and loved was really dirty!!........well a bit of good news we made it to semis and i think if i calcuklated correctly we aer like 27th out of 30......but i had the best run through of the year at semis and EVERYBODY had a great run the judges didnt like it but when do they......well thats my update on dayton.....i miss you all like crazy and oh yeah i ran in to mr. B in dayton he was so tan whats up with that??,......hugs and kisses galore and i hope to be catching up w. some of yall this summer........much luv to all yall it was great seeing you at State......it hurts so bad that the season is over i think im gonna cry when it finally hits me hard........wish me luck at leadership training!!! love you!!

Well, the season is coming to the end and I just wanted to tell all of you that you have done a WONDERFUL job. B-guard, I am so incredably proud of you! Espeacially the baby b's. Hey peeeps
this be figgs. Ahumm, as i was diligently reading our wonderful guard site(thank you mommies) i noticed that on the "hit" points for the band kids that is you hit a trumpet you only get 20 or 25 points. Now from previous instances with the trumpets it came to my attention that they like to poke fun at the fact that we get a tad bit hot and like to roll our shirts up(b\c of the tremendous about of work we do to make the band look superior). Well i think the score on the trumpets should be raised just a bit due to this simple fact. Now my motto is not exacly if you got it flont it, but in this case i think it is ok to use. And even if you don't "got it". Pretend like you do and flaunt it anyway!!!!!. So next marching season go out there and shake yo thang!! And knock them dead(weather it be from hitting them with your flags or otherwise!)And in the words of Mr. Hill "GET IT GURL!!!!"

hey peoples,
i know I am usually the queen of being goofy but I really have something seriouse to talk about. This year has been very bumpy so far (not justa bump more like a couple of mountains). from lots of people failing( i am not ashamed to say that I was one of those people) , to even worse losing a member for a short while. But God makes things happen for a reason and somtines bad things happen to good people, and even though we try to fix them they just can't be helped. But just like always, because of our freindship to each other and love for each other, we bounce back. And i believe if we all have faith in God and each other we will be just fine. The best thing to do now is to forgive, but not forget. We all must learn from our mistakes in life, but only when we forget them do we fail. I feel like I have made friends for life in these short two years I have been in guard, and I care about all of you so much!!! I hope all of you know I love and I will always be there if you need help in anything, don't hesitate to ask!!! No matter what happens if we have faith in each other we can do anything.
I love you guys and I hope you know that.

i cant believe marching season is over!:(:(:( but if the football team keeps doing really good then marching season wont be completely over. i cant wait for winterguard and i know that both guards are going to kick so serious booty. its going to be soooo much fun.

She is fine dont worry, but unfortunatley I read on Avante's website that they will not be coming out this season. Please just try to think of her and keep her in your prayers. Hey people I have big news seriously.........ok here it goes Bekath Horelica...Yes that's right Mrs. Safety herself has broken her elbow that's right broke it. Ok and here is the big thing it was at church camp!!!!!!! Curch camp you say that's right church camp. Of all the places. So after she fell 20 feet from a zip line, that she was not properly straped in to, she landed on some ROCKS, and was life fighted to the hospital and all she got was a dinky chipped elbow!!! This gurl is lucky that she didn't break her neck!!! Talk about having faith. So from this point on she shall be known as Lucky. That is her new name. So Here ye here ye all who read this will call bekah and whine to her about her broken elbow!!!! HA HA. That is all you may now return to your norm.

AS we have all read about bekahs broken elbow.... i must say i got very jealous of her(not really but thats what my mom said and it sounds funny)while i was at church camp, i myself also had to go to the emergency room from a ropes course accident! Thankfully, i was very lucky myself for not breaking my arm....its just really swollen and bruised! Im not asking for sympathy, its just funny that we both hurt our arms at church camp on a ropes course! We are 2 very lucky people, bekah is really lucky though that she didnt break her neck. Sorry bekah! WEll i guess i will be seeing you all at band camp, no wait guard camp! adios

1)Your flag/rifle/sabre is always heavier then everyone elses
2)The drop you had was not your fault, it was the wind, the sun, the lighting, or any other creative excuse you can come up with!

4)There are endless possible positions in which to sleep on a bus.
5)DOWN SYNDROME- when you sit down for a long time and can't get back up

hey guys, i just wanted to say how much fun i have hade this year. colorguard has given me a home away from home as well as a ton of great relationships. I am so gratefull to be apart of this colorguard and hope to always have great friends like each of you. seniors, good luck to you upcoming graduatiions and exciting future. i luv yall and will miss yall so much. To the new officers I cant wait to get to know each of yall better and am excited on the direction yall are going to lead this colorguard. To Mr. B, I just wanted to thank you for everything you have doe for me this year. When i had struggles during the year you as well as David encouraged me to do what you knew i could do instead of threatening to take my part away. This has made a huge impact on my life and hope that you will know how much it meant to me.

Hey kids! I thought I would take a minute to tell you all how proud I am of you. This has been a fun year, and I have been so impressed with all of you. Not only are you all very beautiful and talented kids, but you are all so sweet and respectful. It has been a true pleasure to share in all your experiences! I never thought of my volunteering to chaperone the bus trips and arrange the food as a job. It was always fun! You guys are worth it. Congatulations on all the trophies. I guess I will have to find other ways to fill my Saturdays this summer. On second thought, I think my back will need the time to heal from carrying that A Guard mat around! :) I hope you are all as proud of yourselves as I am of you. Awwww.. I was watching the movie clips of yalls performance at dayton... and I almost cried.. you guys... urgh.. you don't understand how mad i was when i found out you guys didn't make semis! I mean.. I was thinking about you guys all wed till when i found out on friday morning.... and then when i watched a few guards in yalls class perform for semis... i was just shocked... really... those guards.. they don't even compare to you guys!!! urgh... i maybe a bit bias... but whatever.. lol.. but yeah I'm sorry that we didn't get to see you guys perform... i was really wishing we would.. but yeah right.. all we did wed night and all day thursday was practice.. blah! lol.. so i'm glad you guys posted the vid clips online.. the performance looks.. AMAZING!!!!

i love you all, and you guys are just.. FANTASTIC! I was talking to an old guard member.. one or two of you guys may remember her.. (elizabeth, ken's best bud) she graduated.. i think two years before me.. yeah she marched the rose bowl year.. anyways.. when i told her that cyfair went to nationals.. she was like.. "WHAT!? WOW!" hee hee.. she hasn't seen you guys since she graduated.. so she was surprised how cy-fair got so good... believe me.. from what our guards were like in 99 to now... NIGHT AND DAY! ;)

I'm so proud to say that I was a member of the cy-fair guard.. and watching you guys this past season.. made me miss performing with you guys!!! Hopefully some of you senior girls are continuing guard in college.. there are a lot of guards you can join.. Avante (the one I'm in), Millienna (great group of people.. they were so sweet to us!), Emblem 281 (megan's guard another great group of people), etc... so yeah... just think about it ok?

Well, I guess I should go and work on my english project.. take care you all! Great job on a wonderful season.. and Good Luck next year!

Hi there everyone! I just wanted to take a moment and wish both guards the best of luck at Dayton. I'm from Clear Brook High School (frogs) and I remembered seeing you guys warming up at San Marcos, you guys looked great. Keep in mind that no matter what the outcome is you need to just have fun and let it flow, you can't always help what the judges think of you, but hopefully they'll think highly of you (not too highly though or we may be in trouble:-)). Newayz, I also wanted to say how much I love your costumes, all of you look great (be thankful you're not in green spandex). Hey Everyone,well, this is the final week of guard this year. And it may be my last :( We have all worked VERY hard this year ad I would hate to see it all go to waste, A guard, Ya'll know what I mean. So what do you say we go to State and show them what we are made of. We can do it I know we can. Look how far we have come, look at our awesome shows, LOOK AT ALL THE PEOLPE WHO LOVE OUR SHOW! I say we go to state and give them the best show they all have ever seen. That will be the last time they all see us ya know. Then when we go to Nationals, they will be waiting to see what we have, and believe you me, I'm going to give it my all, it will be my last performance with all you girls. I'm going out "shhmmokin"(The Mask) and I hope you all end this year well with a wonderful show as well. SO lets keep our minds focused and our equiptment in our hands with smiles on our faces and I think we will be ok!! What do ya'll think? Let'sshow them what we are made of!! Hey Guard, It is Angela. I just wanted to let everyone know I think the world of each and every one of you. Everyone is doing such a great job and also making my senior year the best year I've had. I'll miss ya'll next year, but when I graduate, don't think you've seen the last of me.... I'll be back! Hey Cy-Fair! I'm from the Woodlands HS guard, and I just wanted to say what a great job you guys did! I love both of your shows VERY much ~ you're costumes and your work are awsome! Congratulations at Taylor ~ I went and watched even though our guard wasn't there, and congratulations to the novice class (or should I say Regional A :) for a job well done.

Hey Cy-Fair Guard!

I'm from Dickinson and I remember very distinctly watching your B guard show. It was really good and I could feel the emotion of the show from you. While we were watching, our director turned to us and said, "Welcome to second place." After the show, we all talked about how we need to have the emotion and involvement in the show like you guys have. So, I just want to say thank you for a beautiful performance and the inspiration! Good luck and keep spinning!

Hey! I raelly did just "stumble" on this awesome NEW sight... I'm nearly in tears here y'all, because you all look SO BEAUTIFUL in those pictures....
Sometimes, alot of the time, I think about when I was on guard. I would give up many things to be able to re-do my senior year, and enjoy one more year on guard... I keep thinking independent guard, maybe, but I haven't spun in a year...
A GUARD: YOU LOOK GORGEOUS.... ALL GROWN UP AS A GUARD.... B GUARD: YOU DON'T KNOW ME, BUT YOU ALL LOOK LOVELY IN THOSE UNIFORMS, AND I'M SURE YOU PERFORM JUST AS NICELY...
I want to come watch you all on March 23 as well as scope out the local independent guards and talk to them about membership.... So PLEASE watch for me, and old girls.... Go read my message to you on the old board.
Love y'all, good luck, God bless, and enjoy every minute of the activity you are taking part in... You probably don't believe me, but (Hey! I've been through 4+ hours of exhausting, emotional practices, too....) you WILL miss guard when all is said and done...

Oh my god!! I can't believe I am actually on the Cy-Fair colroguard's website!!! You guys are so good. I am your biggest fan. This is liek the biggest dream come true to even get to email you guys like this. You are like the most famous guard and if I could just shake yall's guy's hands I would die happy. I'm like totally freaking out right now.

Hehe, just joking you guys. You know that I love you and y'all are great. You guys are the best part of high school and guard. Having friends like y'all make eveerything worht while.
B guard -- you guys are awesome and beautiful, keep up the great job and kick some major butt tomorrow (Taylor)!!
A guard -- I remember last year I was so afraid to come practice with you guys bc I thought y'all were like way serious (I should have known better) and I thought that if I messed up y'all would get mad at me becasue y'all were so good. But now that I am here, I am so happy, you guys make pracitce great especially when it isnt so great. And you guys really are the closest friends that I have.
I know it's a way long way away, but I am going to miss evry one of you colorguard members when I graduate because each one of you have been so important to me. I love you guys and Good Luck!
