THE 11-YEAR-OLD Bronx girl who took her own life was texting as she prepared to use a scarf to hang herself, police sources said Wednesday.

Wilnery Polanco-Uben “was texting to her friend at the time she was doing it, and there’s no indication of bullying as an issue,” one police source said.


Another cop source said investigators believe Wilnery, who hanged herself from a bedroom door Monday, was motivated by family issues.

“She was always smiling and happy,” said Wilnery’s pal, Emily Ceballos. “I can’t believe she’s gone.”
