He told that to LBJ and damned if time and time again he didn't get 100,000 or 200,000 more men. The difference is, we had the troops to send. He didn't ask for the national guard to be ACTIVATED-------- We need a draft and a much bigger regular army, base closings to stop and cheaper booze and food served at officers clubs
