Your default setting for File Types of Flash files [SWFs] is set to use Quicktime.

In your Quicktime Preferences/'control panel' make sure SWF file types is unchecked. And You may need Adobe Flash Player.

Another Possibility, are you using a Flash Killer/Blocker. Many ads are Flash. But YouTube is Flash too.
