Subject: Sea hag charged with killing man who wouldn’t give her beer (a challenge to guest1)

A Florida woman known to locals as “the sea hag” is in jail for allegedly pumping bullets into a man who refused to give her a beer.

Martin Mazur, 64, died Sunday night, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

His friend Casey Whippo, 30, said Mazur had opened up a beer outside at his Conch Key home when “the sea hag” – 64-year-old Carolyn Dukeshire – showed up and asked if she could have one.




When he refused, Whippo said, Dukeshire pulled out a gun and shot him five times.

Cops said Mazur was struck in the abdomen, back and wrist. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died.

Whippo said Dukeshire threw the gun into the water behind Mazur’s house and then sat down and waited for deputies to arrive.

She was jailed on a charge of murder, the Sheriff’s Office said.
