Kman, I hope you realize that I meant you no disrespect.
I am sorry that those messages are still here.
However, having read the posts explaining about "trolls," it appears it is only one individual doing this. That doesn't make it less hurtful but it makes it easier for me personally to deal with.
Because you may be moving this forum, I will not be sending any complaints to Voyager. I really felt bad that what I wrote was in a sense a threat (I did plan to go through with it) but I also hope that you can understand how unhappy I was.
I have calmed down considerably.
However I have decided that "Rant and Rave" is not for me.
I am too thin-skinned, quite honestly, and cannot handle stress, even from people who I don't know.
I am Jewish and anti-semitism really hurts me.
I was a big Mel Gibson fan until I heard about his anti-semitic rant. That has totally changed my opinion of the man.
Many of the biggest names in Hollywood and in show business are Jewish. Though there had been rumors that Mel might be anti-semitic when "Passion Of The Christ" came out they were only that, as far as I know, rumors.
Now it appears that (sadly) it is the truth.
And I am wondering how his peers are going to react to this.
Yes, I still wish you would remove those offensive posts from here, but I also realize that this might take a lot of work on your part.
And maybe it is not as easy to permanently ban somebody as people may think.
So I will certainly cut you some slack on this.
Believe me, Kman, I am not a vindictive lady in any way, shape or form.
But I am a human being with feelings.
I know, that sounds very trite. People say that all the time.
However I am sure that you have feelings to and can understand where I am coming from.
I do not plan to register on the other forum, simply because, as I stated above, "Ranting and Raving" may not be something I am well-suited for.
The topics here have often made me squeamish.
That does not mean the people here are bad in any way. Far from it! I sense that most are very decent.
But I just feel uncomfortable, and I guess you can understand that.
My posts a few weeks ago about you winning millions of bucks were kind of joking in a way. I had fun with that. Of course if you DID win all that, the joke is still on me, and -- in that case -- I hope you have invested it wisely!
Anyway, I enjoyed this place most of the time (until the past few days) so I thank you and everybody for that.
And I wish you success in your new location, assuming you are moving there from here.
Either way, I will not post here any more except if you reply to this. In that case I may reply.
So, other than that, any posts from "Lorna Doone" (particularly upper-case) are NOT from me.
