For linkage of both Islamic radical movements in the Middle East and the same linkage of the radical Chicano movement throughout the American Southwest is evident. The same linkage exist between the far left/communist-like regime of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and that of the Islamic radical regime of Iran's Mahmud Ahmadinejad.
Both regimes have much in common and thus desire the same assured goals.
