Subject: The only thing I agree with is USA...REALLY LOL! But, I'm telling you that I saw this in person and IT'S NOT JERSEY MATERIAL, or what ever fabric they use for the Leafs!!! I'm not basing my opinion on a photo! It looked like some sort of spandex was used for both the top and pant, sorry but I don't recall seeing any of the Leafs wearing spandex, lol! So, what I'mj saying is that if you are making something and adding someone's registered trademark WITHOUT permission or approval, they CAN sue your house right off your back! I can't beleive ANYONE would not know that! Subject Author Date If I buy the logo and put it on a spandex top...its still mine, I dont have to ask what to do with it. I paid for the right to use it when I purchased the licensed emblem. I'm not arguing whether or not they got permission from the Leafs, good for them, it gets better promotion that way. (if they paid a fee for that permission they are stupid). I like the costume better than a lot of the others I have seen, but my point is, if you honestly believe that outfit is worth $4000.00, you are off your rocker!! Even if you bought a Leaf jersey, took the logo off and put it on your own top, redesigned and all. They could sue your ass off if they wanted to. Their entire uniform IS a trademark and your redesigning it changes their look, which therefore changes THEIR trademark. You could've paid that jersey or logo $10,000.00 and it's still NOT YOUR logo to use as you please. When you purchase anything with a company's registered trademark, it's being sold to be used and worn AS IT IS BEING SOLD not to be modified.
