Subject: Those were the glory days of Miss Universe. The pageant night was the whole thing. There was no internet so we had no clue who the favorites were. Just seeing Canada in the semi-finalists was reward enough. And seeing her win was just incredible. Subject Author Date Wow! Thank you Jimmy again for that!! My first time watching (well, at least the crowning moment), and I felt the emotions! Karen stood out among the top five greatly. Her dress was also the classiest of them all--couldn't help but notice! I do remember watching the Miss Universe pageant before and only judging based on what I saw from that final night.
