Subject Author Date Miss International Canada is the event that ran from 2002-2006 and chose our country's rep for the Miss International (est. 1960) event during that time. That pageant has now folded, and the Beauties of Canada Org'n now owns the rights to send a rep to the same Miss International Contest. The Miss Canada International has been around since 1995 and is a completely separate organization. As a guestimate, there are at least 10 "major" international pageants happening in China on an annual basis, so if the Miss Canada International folks are sending someone to China, it's to participate in one of those other events - not the aforementioned Miss International for which Alice Panikian was appointed. I'm very curious to see which pageant in China it will be, since it's not mentioned on the MCI website. There is one thing in common - both girls were appointed to participate in the international finals. (NT) Jimmy S. 00:32:21 07/31/07 Tue Jimmy is correct. I know Stephanie, and she is competing not in Miss International. She said it is call the Miss Beauty World pageant. I guess they missed it on the website--but either way, I wish both Alice and Stephanie the best of luck at the internationals!
