And one day you put them on and realize that they don't even fit you! So you think about buying a new pair of awesome shoes and you feel guilty about getting rid of the old ones but then you start looking back and wondering why you kept them in the first place, they pinched your feet, the heel kept breaking, they let your feet get wet, people always laughed at how bad of condition they were in...but you couldn't see it then because they were your favourite pair and you loved them.
