Having been involved in the pageant industry for over a decade, I follow all regional and national events very closely in Canada and am aware as most of us are of the national pageants that we are professionally comfortable associating with and those we are not. In my opinion, the Canadian teen pageant field is dominated by Miss Teen Canada-World which is host to provincials held in every province within Canada. Michelle personally interviews, organizes and directs each provincial pageant thereby offering this opportunity to close to a thousand accepted delegates each year. It is from there that Canada’s most exceptional young women attend her gala finals in Toronto all vying for the most amazing prize, scholarship and travel opportunities I have ever seen. The young ladies that ultimately participate in the finals of Miss Teen Canada World each summer in Toronto have been personally scouted, trained and the ultimate choices of the professional range of judges is second to none. Miss Teenager Pageant to be held in Costa Rica October 17th has a Canadian delegate from Miss Teen Canada TM. Wondering why the selection for this event would not come from the delegates of Miss Teen Canada World and what basis the selection for this young lady was. Canada is placing so highly at national events, why would our delegates not come from Canada’s most prestigious teen pageant? Michelle’s reigining Miss Teen Canada World Channing Smendziuk from Manitoba just placed 1st RunnerUp at Miss Teen World in Texas this past summer. Chelsae placed 2nd runner up at Miss Global Teen - MTC-W has been producing top contenders for the international market. If Michelle think Ailey was a good choice then Ailey should be going. Take notice Miss Teenager ….what are you thinking???
