| Subject: No hard feelings on my side, my friends arent disposable, sometimes they become distan but she knows I wish her no ill will. As for the media, if I could answer that I'd be rich!!! Not reallyy but it is a question no one can really answer. Canada just doesnt seem to care is all. Pageants are not a big deal there, Maybe its our temperment, who knows. No one gets press in the pageant world (unless its negative). Look at Natalie...my god she won Miss Universe and barely a mention. Other countries issue stamps and holidays in honour of their girls who win MU and MW, in Canada its like 'oh, cool' and go about your day. Every pageant will get a little local coverage, none will ever get on tv no matter what they promise except for a local or ethnic station, but never national coverage, those days are gone. Those who are in it now arre in it purely for thhe fun of being in it. Anyone bitten by the pageant bug knows what I am talking about :) |
