I believe, that controversy started here with the statement "Born and bred Canadian". That is just ridiculous. I agree that we should not blame MUC for non-placement at Miss Universe. Remember, MUC is just one person – national director, who does not personally select a national winner, he selects candidates to participate in the pageant. The panel of Canadian judges makes a choice for the winner and they failed to make a right choice in 2004 and 2007, but there was no choice for 2008 – now you can blame MUC for poor selection of candidates in 2008. -- Canadian Pageant Fans' HQ
