There is some truth behind the Miss BC regional finals and does seem like a pointless pageant, when all other provinces do not require them for the ladies to proceed to Miss World Canada. And how do you know all this information unless you were a contestant there this year?
Although, I have seen for myself how some of the contestants are not much of a positive role model for the youth, one in particular who was crowned in 2007 for Northern BC. After attending the pageant on the Saturday night for the 'Beauty' presentation, not only was her outfit very untasteful with her undergarments(thong in particular) clearly showing, but also has some unprofessional pictures posted on the net.
