If It had of been posted like the Miss Canada Globe delegates was, the same comments would have been made...the issue was with the costume (and the disrespect that is from non-natives wearing traditional and sometimes sacred regalia and treating it like a costume), not the delegate or the pageant or if she 'pulled it off'. It's the same thing as someone from India that wears a sari is being disrespectful. It is something that symbolizes an aspect of the country being represented. Canada is mutli-cultural, so having a "non-native" choose to use a native outfit as a symbol of representation for her country is really an honour; it shows recognition for our aborignial roots.
