Subject: Thank you! Thats what Ive been trying to say but apparently Im terrible at explaining. The systems arent comparable, just because Ramona did well at one doesnt mean she would have done well at the other. Inga wasnt my top pick, but at least she did her best and I feel bad for her always being trashed on this board.

In reply to: Mike D 's message, "Both Angela Visser (MU89) and Mpule Kwelagobe (MU99) both competed in Miss World and did not place. On the other hand, Katherine Sorland failed to crack the Top 10 at MU04 while she was 3rd RU at MW02. Locally, Nazanin Afshin-Jam (MWC03) failed to grab the MUC03 title but finished 1RU at MW03. The point is success/failure in one pageant does not guarantee the same result in another. The judging systems in both pageants are almost incomparable. In my opinion, Inga was a good rep that year, but Ramona was the obvious choice." on 08:41:26 02/11/08 Mon

It just seems foolish to not choose the more beautiful candidate with the proven track record. Oh well. Maybe this year. And Inga was let off easy all things considered. (NT)A.C.20:21:03 02/11/08 Mon
