Subject Author Date Pageants are not always very popular in big cities. As well, it is how the event is advertised and marketed. I know that the Sun and Salsa pageant was well advertised with lots of sponsors so there were more girls. It can also be the time of year where most of the girls have school to focus on. Lastly, some girls did not compete as they are going for MUC and expenses of doing both is a big one. Hope that answers your question sort of speak.
