Subject: Thanks for answering my questions it cleared up some of my confusion. In regards to the girls and parents complaining they must not be planning on going to any nationals. Imagine a national director getting a call from a parent saying the girls should wear track suits.(Kinda made me laugh.) Also they changed the swimsuit competition to a athletic wear competition because they were getting complaints from contestants and parents about the swimsuit section. Also some girls chose to wear 2 different gowns, 1 for evening wear & 1 for speech.
