It unbelievable how fast time can pass one by. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was feeling a rush of excitement to compete for the title of Miss World Canada. Now that has come and gone and I’m feeling an even bigger rush to compete at Miss World. These past few months have changed my life. I feel like I am a stronger more put together young woman who truly feels empowered and comfortable in my own skin. I know that it is because of my experiences over the past few months that I have grown so much. I would like to thank Miss World Canada Organization for running such a fabulous pageant. The organization knows how to treat their girls and they only want what’s best. I am so grateful to be blessed with the opportunity to hold such a prestigious title. Thank you MWC!!!

I don’t want to go on forever, because I could. I just want to say that I am thrilled to go, and as the time slowly gets closer to my departure the experience ahead of me becomes more real. I believe that everything in life happens for a reason. Nothing is by chance and everything serves a purpose. I want to go to China and have the best experience of my life. I know what I must do and I will work very hard to get it done. All I can do is try my hardest, pray and hope for the best. I feel like I am already a winner because I have gained so much already. I think Canada is a GREAT country and I want to represent us in a way that will truly depict how wonderful a country it really is.
