By giving that embarrassing interview, Karen Murray only proved her own ignorance about Wicca, Tarot cards, and Reiki. As someone who happens to incorporate Wiccan beliefs, oracle cards, and Reiki into my spiritual practice, I was shocked to read that they are considered "dark" and part of the "occult." Reiki happens to be a pure form of energy healing; calling Wicca dark is the same as calling Buddhism evil. However, aside from all this, I can't believe that someone would be disqualified from judging a pageant because she engages in such practices.
