What does it do when you you power up your Vectrex? With the cartridge inserted, do you get the Vectrex title screen with little music thing it does, but no acknowledgement that a cartridge is inserted? Here's a tip:

Try cleaning the contacts with 91% alcohol and a Q-Tip. I recommend 91%. Anything less tends to have more water in it. This helps 95% of the time. If it doesn't help, try getting some REALLY soft Scotch Brite pads and lightly!!!!! clean the contacts, then use the alcohol method.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what to tell you. I have yet to get a bad Vectrex cart, but I am sure there are some out there.
