Hello,

i search some facts about a collaboration with IWC (international watch co.).
There was some cal. typ's with name "Elgin" there f.e. the cal. 33 "Elgin I qual" !

look at the hairspring holder. Is it a Elgin Patent?

There are some other things too, the elgin dial fits on cal.52 movement O-o. 1888 the name "elgin" was used the last time after 1888 the name was only "cal. IWC" but that was the same movement.
IWC loose Hearing vs. Elgin because the name was (c) ?
