I inherited my great-aunt's Elgin wrist watch and love it dearly. It's so dainty and unique.
I wore it for several months (it actually works off and on). However, the silk cord band frayed and broke. I'd like to find a replacement. Does anyone know where to a silk cord band with ratchet center? From viewing Elgin sales catalogs online, I'm guessing it's dated 1939-40s. I saw a ton of similiar wrist watches with this signature bands....
