Subject: Looking for a reputable appraiser for Elgin 1883 Stage Driver's Watch

 A friend has asked me to attempt to find out information on his 1883 Gold Elgin pocket watch. The little circle of parchment(?)certifying the case and bearing the serial number is pristeen. The stem is in the 3:00 position. The original owner was a stage driver in Deadwood SD. Does anyone know if stage lines kept records of drivers and if so where can they be located?
