Good points all. I had commented earlier, but I might have messed up my signing in and it didn't get posted.
It is very odd how the advertising is done compared to the way the Mysticks did it the last two years for the af2 team and the Revelers. But, there is BIG $$ behind the Revelers, that being the NBA. With that said, the personalities sure talke them up, so it must depend on where those advertising monies go to get air time. But, the stations also have to be able to sell the air time to other sponsors.
Went to the BayBears exhibition game with Padres last Thursday and the place was not filled up. It was a good crowd and maybe others were smarter than I, to assume that the stars wouldn't at least play enough to get one at bat. I've seen other exhibition games and that usually was the custom.
So, what am I saying. Mobile doesn't support a whole lot of anything that is semi-regular. I'm curious as to the attendance at the Miss-AL HS AllStar Football game?
