There is a last ditch effort in NOLA to make a deal with the city council regarding use of the Municipal Auditorium. There is supposed to be a big rally at City Hall this morning with lots of fan support. They have been sending e-mails to council members, signing petitions, etc.
There will have to be a decision today because the ECHL has said that tomorrow will be the deadline. Given the slow state of politics in New Orleans, this seems unlikely. Just my opinion.
Everybody keep their fingers crossed.
