What a great home opener for the SeaWolves last night with a come-from-behind win. Jackson looked unbeatable in the first period but the Dogs hung right in there. Lots of hard hits and chippy play.
Bowtell is a winner. Fast and gritty. Always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Walby, Baxter, and Paradise are up to their usual good play.
Kevin Grimes was always in the sin bin, as usual. Rochon got a game misconduct for shooting the puck across the ice after being called for tripping. Loved that. Wes got a good shot of him with his hands in the air arguing with the official after that one.
MS will be tough again this season. It's great hockey and more former Mysticks Fans need to be in attendance. The long-time SeaDog fans and staff really seem to appreciate it.
See you next Saturday in Biloxi.
